Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring full-time Line Cooks to join our team at Morimoto Asia in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing dishes according to recipes and chef specifications. What will you do?

Prepare food according to established portion sizes and quality standards

Follow department rules, policies, and procedures

Make sure food reaches and stays at the proper temperatures

Store food correctly and maintain the freshness and quality of menu items

Package products according to the restaurant's specifications

Keep your workstation, coolers, and kitchen equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked

Follow waste-control procedures and record food waste on the spoilage sheet

Perform opening duties, closing duties, side work, and end-of-day inventory.Prepare food according to established portion sizes and quality standards

More about you

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a prep cook or line cook

Ability to prioritize and complete food orders with speed and precision

Ability to follow procedures and take directions

Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions

No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

Lift 50+ pounds

Reach as high as 7 feet

Bend and squat

Stand and walk for the entire shift

Work in moderate-to-high noise

Repeatedly chop, mix, blend, and whip foods/liquids

Operate commercial kitchen equipment
