Applied Materials’ Manufacturing Engineering Department is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op to join our team. This Co-op will be in a cleanroom environment and will provide you with hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly and modular test.

Spring co-op dates: January 11, 2027 - July 2, 2027 on-site at our Billerica, MA location

Role Responsibilities:

* Work closely with build and test technicians to identify process improvement opportunities

* Execute time studies on the build and test lines

* Lead small manufacturing process improvement projects

* Develop and update operation method sequences (OMSs)

* Support manufacturing engineering with part defect root cause analysis and processing

Minimum Qualifications:

* Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field

* Student must be in good academic standing, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.

* Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving

* Must be a quick learner and willingness to learn new skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Engineering experience in development or manufacturing environment

Compensation:

$31 - $41 per hour
