What will you do?

Support purchasing management in BirchStreet by tracking, reviewing, auditing, and monitoring daily purchase orders created by in-park and office staff

Resolve discrepancies and cancel incorrect purchase orders, contacting staff to redo as needed

Receive all BirchStreet purchase orders accurately and timely, resolve receiving and invoice issues, and audit invoices as requested

Sort, verify, and file all invoices to ensure accurate PO numbers and receipt

Support Accounts Payable with blanket invoice receiving and unmatched issues, and email invoices to Accounts Payable for processing

Serve as a point of contact, along with the Operations Support Specialist, for store and office staff on BirchStreet orders and invoices, and with management for vendors regarding missing or incorrect invoices

Assist management in training and retraining associates on BirchStreet

More about you

Well-organized self-starter with an excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn

Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Previous experience with purchasing and inventory management systems preferred but not required

Experience working with vendors and training team members

Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Physical requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer

Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and phone frequently throughout the shift

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach as needed to sort and file invoices

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. occasionally
