We are looking for a detail-oriented Reconciliation Specialist to support financial accuracy and account balancing for a Contract position based in Grandview, Missouri. This role focuses on reviewing transactions, resolving discrepancies, and helping maintain reliable records across bank and credit card accounts. The ideal candidate brings strong reconciliation experience, works comfortably with month-end activities, and can manage daily financial comparisons with a high level of precision.Responsibilities:• Perform daily and periodic reconciliations for bank accounts, credit card activity, and related financial records to confirm accuracy and completeness.• Investigate unmatched transactions, identify the source of variances, and take appropriate action to resolve outstanding discrepancies promptly.• Support month-end close by preparing reconciliation reports, validating account balances, and ensuring required adjustments are recorded correctly.• Review account activity across multiple statements and internal records to maintain consistent and accurate financial reporting.• Partner with accounting and finance team members to clarify exceptions, obtain supporting documentation, and close open reconciling items.• Maintain organized reconciliation schedules and audit-ready records that document findings, follow-up actions, and final resolutions.• Use Sage Pro and other accounting tools to monitor balances, compare data sets, and streamline reconciliation workflows.
