We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day finance operations in a Contract position based in Fridley, Minnesota. The role centers on maintaining accurate transaction data, assisting with invoice workflows, and contributing to smooth month-end financial activities.Responsibilities:• Enter and maintain invoice details in the accounting system with a high level of accuracy and consistency.• Assist the finance team with daily administrative and accounting tasks that keep records organized and up to date.• Handle invoice processing activities, follow payment status, and help resolve routine discrepancies.• Provide support across both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as business needs require.• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card activity, petty cash, and other balance sheet accounts to help ensure reliable financial reporting.• Prepare journal entries and assist with posting adjustments related to regular accounting operations and month-end close.• Update spreadsheets, financial logs, and internal databases to maintain complete and accessible accounting information.• Compile financial summaries and other supporting reports for management review.• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to clarify billing, payment, and account-related questions.• Follow company accounting procedures and applicable financial guidelines in all assigned work.
