We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Service Representative (PSR) to support patient registration, scheduling, and overall patient services. In this role, you will assist both new and existing patients, helping ensure a high level of service, efficiency, and professionalism. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesUphold and support the Mission and Core Values of Saint John of GodDeliver exceptional customer service in all interactions with patients, visitors, volunteers, students, and staffFacilitate patient registration while maintaining strict confidentialityConduct financial assessments, collect payments, and accurately record patient feesMaintain logs, reports, and statistical data as requiredPerform billing for assigned providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelinesFollow up on unresolved encounters and pending charges with providersCommunicate with program managers regarding schedules, no-shows, and cancellationsConduct appointment confirmation callsRun reports to ensure compliance with Meaningful Use Objectives, including Objectives 8 and 9Perform clerical duties such as scanning and maintaining patient recordsSupport Medicaid and managed care processes, including insurance verification, eligibility screening and enrollment, and disenrollment proceduresProvide patients with information on available services within Camillus Health and throughout the communitySchedule new and follow-up patient appointmentsAssist with additional departmental duties and special projects as assigned
