They are a creative, strategic leader who can set a vision for virtual experiences, influence senior stakeholders, and partner across content, production, demand generation, and technology teams to deliver differentiated virtual programming at scale.

Key job responsibilities

- Own the virtual event strategy for AWS Global Events, setting the vision and roadmap for how virtual experiences are designed, delivered, and measured across the portfolio.

-Define new ways of bringing virtual events to market, identifying formats, channels, and audience experiences that differentiate AWS virtual programming.

- Develop innovative, compelling ideas for virtual event programming, from concept through execution, in partnership with content, production, and demand generation teams.

- Partner with event production, event technology, and vendor teams to translate strategy into high-quality, scalable virtual event experiences.

- Establish standards, playbooks, and best practices for virtual event programming and continuously raise the bar on attendee experience and engagement.

- Define and track key performance indicators for virtual events, using data and audience insights to optimize programming and demonstrate business impact.

- Influence and align senior stakeholders on virtual event strategy, priorities, and investment decisions.

Requirements: - Experience using data and metrics to drive actionable insights at scale

- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders

- 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing, events, or content programming experience.

- Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional global programs from concept to completion.

- Experience setting strategy and developing new programs or formats that drive measurable business impact.
