We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join a growing private equity organization in Boca Raton, Florida. This position will support core accounting operations across corporate entities and investment funds, with a focus on maintaining accurate records, supporting financial reporting, and helping drive a timely close process. The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting foundation, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving environment.Responsibilities:• Record accounting activity by preparing and posting journal entries for both corporate and fund-related transactions.• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts such as cash, investments, accruals, and intercompany balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities by organizing schedules, reviewing account activity, and resolving discrepancies.• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, investor reporting materials, and internal management reporting packages.• Track fund activity including capital calls, distributions, fees, and allocation-related entries within the accounting records.• Partner with internal teams to support investment valuation reporting and incorporate portfolio performance data into fund-level financial reporting.• Help coordinate annual audit requests and provide supporting documentation for external auditors and other reporting stakeholders.• Maintain compliance with applicable U.S. accounting standards and support consistent documentation of accounting processes.
