Corpay is seeking a highly motivated, resourceful, and execution-oriented Commercial Operations Specialist to join our rapidly growing Corporate Payments organization.

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Inside Sales, this individual will play an important role in improving operational efficiency, resolving business challenges, supporting account management activities, and enabling our sales organization to operate at its highest potential.

This is a unique opportunity for an early-career professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants meaningful ownership and exposure to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong bias for action, exceptional attention to detail, and a natural inclination to improve the way things work.

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t simply identify problems, but takes initiative to solve them.

How We Work

You will be expected to work at our Brentwood, TN office. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Assigned workspace in Brentwood, TN office

Company-issued equipment

Formal, hands-on training

Key Responsibilities

Sales Operations & Process Improvement

Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies that impact sales productivity and organizational performance.

Develop, document, and improve workflows that support a rapidly expanding sales organization.

Partner with sales leadership to streamline processes, reduce administrative burdens, and improve seller efficiency.

Support the implementation of new tools, technologies, and automation opportunities.

Identify recurring operational challenges and develop scalable, long-term solutions.

Escalation Management & Problem Resolution

Serve as a central point of coordination for operational escalations and complex business challenges.

Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to drive timely and effective resolution.

Take ownership of open issues, ensuring accountability, communication, and follow-through.

Identify underlying causes of recurring escalations and recommend process improvements.

Maintain visibility into outstanding issues and communicate progress to sales leadership.

Account Management & Sales Support

Assist with account-related operational needs throughout the customer lifecycle.

Partner with sales, implementation, and service teams to resolve customer challenges.

Help improve customer onboarding, account transitions, and internal communication.

Remove operational obstacles that prevent sales representatives from focusing on revenue-generating activities.

Support sales leaders and representatives with high-priority operational initiatives.

Business Execution & Leadership Support

Work directly with the SVP of Inside Sales on business priorities, operational initiatives, and special projects.

Partner with frontline sales managers to identify opportunities for improved execution and efficiency.

Coordinate cross-functional projects, establish clear next steps, and ensure timely completion.

Develop reporting, tracking mechanisms, and operational updates that provide visibility into key business activities.

Proactively identify opportunities to improve how the organization operates.

Qualifications

1–3 years of professional experience in sales operations, business operations, account management, customer success, or a related field preferred.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to independently solve problems and take ownership of assignments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools.

Comfortable learning new technologies, systems, and processes.

Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments.

Experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, is a plus.

Experience in financial technology, payments, or B2B sales environments is beneficial but not required.

What We’re Looking For

Beyond professional experience, we’re particularly interested in individuals who demonstrate the following characteristics:

High Ownership: You take responsibility for outcomes, not just assigned tasks.

Bias for Action: You move quickly, exercise sound judgment, and don’t wait to be told what needs to happen next.

Resourcefulness: You’re comfortable figuring things out, finding answers, and navigating unfamiliar challenges.

Intellectual Curiosity: You naturally ask questions, seek to understand how things work, and look for better ways to operate.

Attention to Detail: You recognize that small operational improvements can create meaningful business impact.

Adaptability: You thrive in environments where priorities evolve, challenges emerge, and processes are continuously improving.

Growth Mindset: You’re eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and motivated to take on increasing responsibility.

Why Join Corpay?

Corpay’s Corporate Payments business is growing, creating opportunities for individuals who want to contribute beyond the boundaries of a traditional job description.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Work directly with senior sales leadership and gain exposure to the operations of a growing B2B payments organization.

Take meaningful ownership of projects and initiatives early in your career.

Develop experience across sales operations, customer management, business processes, and cross-functional execution.

Help build and improve processes that directly influence organizational productivity and performance.

Learn from experienced leaders while developing the skills necessary for continued professional growth.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be challenged, contribute meaningfully, and build a career through demonstrated performance.

We’re looking for someone who sees an opportunity to make something better and takes the initiative to make it happen.
