Compensation Information

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Heavy Truck Driver: $17.76 - $32.86/hour

Senior Heavy Truck Driver: $19.51  - $36.10/hour

 $45/day per diem. 

5 days on, 2 days off schedule. *Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.*

Job Duties

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman  

Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities  

Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 30 tons to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one warehouse to another 

Loads and unloads vehicles  

Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment, and assists during the operation of well logging equipment at job site 

Performs other duties and activities as directed  

Qualifications

Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

High school diploma or equivalent  

Must have Class A CDL licensure with Hazmat endorsement

Tanker, Doubles, Triples endorsement preferred

Must be able to operate a manual transmission. 

Must have a satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges 

Winter, mountain, over the road driving experience

Able to communicate effectively with others  

Mechanical background and oilfield experience preferred. 

Basic reading comprehension and writing skills required 

Able to pass background, physical and drug screen 

Able to lift up to 60lbs  

Able to pass background, physical and drug screen 

Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions 

Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions 

Maintains effective working relationship with other employees 

Schedule:  Monday-Friday 6a - 6p (overnight travel is required as needed).

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
