Work Location & Shifts:       1120 Industrial Ave, North Platte, NE

                                                2nd Shift 5:00pm-3:30am Monday -Thursday                    

Pay:    The hourly pay rate range for this position is 24.64 + shift differential and benefits.  Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.   This information is specific to North Platte and may not be applicable to other locations. 

What your day in this role might involve at OC-North Platte:

Set up, program, operate and to tend computerized woodworking machine (CNC router).

Start router machine, adjust controls, and make trial cuts to ensure that machinery is operating properly.

Determine product specifications and materials, work methods, and machine setup requirements, according to blueprints and work orders.

Feed doors into CNC machine to produce desired routing.

Adjust CNC machine tables or cutting devices and set controls to produce specified cuts or operations.

Monitor operation of CNC machine and make adjustments to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications.

Inspect and mark completed work pieces and stack them on pallets, so that they can be moved to the next workstation.

Verifies quality of all completed products and monitors production.

Masterpack data entry (scrap, reloads, production).

Ability to maintain focus while working individually

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Other duties as assigned

What makes a successful OC North Platte team member:

Must haves include…

Must be mechanically inclined and have good math and measurement skills.

Must read and write English.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must have good attendance and safety records.

Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities.

This position requires high attention to detail.

Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team

The ability to work accurately, thoroughly and meet deadlines

Technical education is a plus

This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and be highly alert at all times

There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to:

Stand for 10 - 12 hours straight

Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 60-pounds)

Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
