JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for dealing a variety of casino games in accordance with established Mississippi Gaming Commission rules and regulations. As a key representative of the casino, you will create a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere, ensuring a positive gaming experience for all guests. 

Applicant must be able to obtain and Mississippi Gaming License. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct and oversee table games with professionalism and accuracy.

Interact with guests, explaining game rules and resolving disputes in a friendly and courteous manner.

Handle gaming chips and payouts efficiently and accurately.

Monitor and report any suspicious activities or potential security risks.

Uphold gaming regulations and adhere to casino policies.

Thorough understanding of the rules, procedures, and strategies for casino games such as blackjack, poker, roulette, baccarat, and others.

Flexibility to handle varying guest behaviors and shift changes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent and experience as a dealer or has attended a dealers’ school.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Standing for Extended Periods

Must be able to stand for long hours during shifts, often in a stationary position at a gaming table.

Manual Dexterity

Ability to shuffle and deal cards quickly and accurately.

Handling and managing chips with precision.

Hand-Eye Coordination

Quick and accurate movements to manage cards, chips, and other gaming equipment effectively.

Visual Acuity

Strong eyesight to read cards, monitor player actions, and ensure accurate payouts.

Ability to distinguish colors for chips and table layouts.

Hearing Ability

Good hearing to respond to guest inquiries, follow instructions, and communicate effectively in a noisy environment.

Physical Stamina

Endurance to maintain energy and attentiveness throughout shifts, often in a fast-paced and high-pressure setting.

Ability to move around the gaming area as needed, such as rotating tables or assisting with other tasks.
