As a Financial Analyst III at Amazon, you will own financial reporting for a key business area and build models that inform operational and growth decisions. You will partner directly with senior leaders, providing recommendations grounded in rigorous analysis and clear narratives. Key job responsibilities

- Own end-to-end financial reporting for your business area, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external policies while mentoring team members on reporting best practices.

- Build and maintain financial models and analyses that support operational and strategic decisions, translating complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership.

- Identify and resolve data integrity issues, design improved controls to address emerging risks, and develop scalable, auditable data analysis processes.

- Lead individual projects from initiation through delivery, managing timelines, setting priorities, and coordinating with upstream and downstream teams to drive results.

- Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and simplify finance tools and processes across teams, leveraging data management capabilities and collaboration to increase efficiency at scale.

Requirements: - 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience

- 5+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related analytical field
